placemat swap complete!

We have received our fun Halloween placemat from Carol in Wisconsin, we absolutely love it. It's so cute and fun. Look at those spiders and the background fabric full of spiderwebs!

She has received mine, so now I can post pictures!

Here is a bit of the back, with the label, and the next picture is the front. She loved it!

traveling threads ~ November is my month!

November is my month is the Traveling Threads virtual quilting bee. I sent my fabrics last week, most addresses are in the USA (1 in Norway!). Already a few have received the fabrics

and put together blocks! You can see their beautiful work by clicking the button above.

I chose Christmas fabrics and requested log cabin or houses blocks.

I am taking part in another little placemat quilt swap. This one is a quick one, the placemat has to be sent before the end of October. I finished the top part today, just got to find a nice fabric for the back and bind it. I really enjoy making these little placemat quilts, not too big, but still room to play around with fabric!
